Mont Blanc

Legend Cologne - 5.0 oz.

Concentrated and fresh fruit character pair up within a single stage of Legend's center, an uncommon layering of two different textures from the same idea. Pineapple, bergamot, lemon verbena and lavender keep the start bright and herbal rather than overtly sweet. Coumarin, dried fruits, red apple, rose, geranium and oakmoss build a full center, sweet and green at once, adding noticeable complexity to what began as a simple fresh top. Tonka bean and sandalwood form the foundation, warm and smooth, closing Legend on a comforting, classic note. Mont Blanc pitched this as aromatic fougère, versatile enough for office wear and evening plans without leaning too far in either direction. Legend Cologne works for professional daytime settings, casual outings and evening events with equal ease. Its six-note center runs unusually dense for a fragrance in this price bracket, giving it more to unpack than most fougères typically offer. Cooler months favor the tonka and sandalwood close most, though the lavender opening keeps it wearable well into spring. Most budget fougères skip past that kind of substance in the center, which is exactly where Legend chooses to spend its effort.
